It is within easy walking access to the Newlands cricket and rugby grounds, and provides an ideal base for most sports fans.
Newlands forest with it's hiking trails is close-by, and Rondebosch is very centrally situated for easy access to all of Cape Town's wonderful tourist attractions,including the Baxter Theatre, the V&A Waterfront for shopping & eating and the Constantia Wine Route. There are a number of golf courses nearby, including Mowbray, Rondebosch and Royal Cape

Rondebosch, a leafy residential area in the Southern suburbs of Cape Town, is well known for its excellent schools, proximity to Groote Schuur Hospital, University of Cape Town, and the entertainment areas of the southern suburbs of Cape Town. It is an upper-middle class suburb consisting mostly of free-standing houses.
Security at Stanford House is provided by a private security company who monitor the area and respond to the alarm activation. The area is frequented by active people who walk,cycle and run and use the nearby sports fields and parks to walk their dogs. Shops are within easy reach and one can walk to the local Woolworths Food Centre where there are also gift, flower and book shops, amongst others. |
