The Drey Lodge is located in the quiet suburb of Newlands (centrally situated in Cape Town’s famous Southern Suburbs) and lies opposite Keurboom Park, a large environmental green-belt. The Drey is warm, friendly and informal and is in close proximity to all of the attractions that make Cape Town one of the most sought after holiday destinations worldwide.
Claremont, the CBD of the Southern Suburbs - with its shopping malls, shops, restaurants and night spots - is within a five minute car trip, or, twenty by foot. Also within a short walk are the renowned Newlands Rugby Stadium - home to the Stormers Super14 Franchise and Sahara Park Newlands, home to the Cobras Cricket Franchise.
The Drey Lodge is also the ideal stop-over for visitors utilising the services of one of our world-class Medical facilities or practitioners.
- The 4 garden suites are the Peninsula Suite (superior with 2 double-bedrooms, 2 bathrooms), Oak Suite (superior unit with indoor fireplace), South Easter Studio (standard studio unit with secure carport) and the Executive double storey suite (superior unit only available for stays of 2 weeks and longer).
- All the units are self-contained and accommodate 2 guests with the Oak, Peninsula and Executive Suites catering for an additional 2 to 4 guests and have their own entrance and secure parking.
- The units are inter-leading and can be reconfigured to accommodate larger groups.
- Each has TV with select DSTV channels and fully equipped kitchenettes
COMMUNAL FACILITIES include a salt-water swimming pool and braai (barbeque).
(Guests are required to observe Lodge rules and hours with regards their usage).
Smoking out of doors only (in keeping with national legislation).
