Citrusdal and
Clanwilliam are in the stunning
Olifants River Valley - essentially on the Cape West Coast region.
Citrusdal is home to its namesake, Citrus farming., and inland across the
Piekenierskloof Pass, this area forms the gateway to the Cederberg.
The Olifants River valley is famous for indigenous Rooibos tea farming and is a favourite holiday area for Eco Tourism and viewing San Rock art, Hiking, Quadbiking, 4X4 routes and the Cederberg Wilderness reserves to the north.
From Clanwilliam, the Pakhuis Pass, boasts magnificent landscapes on the route to Wupperthal – a Moravian mission village in the heart of the Cederberg Mountains.
