Holiday Accommodation in West Coast

The beautiful Cape West Coast offers self catering holiday cottages  and bed and breakfast accommodation from Grotto Bay, Yzerfontein, Saldanha and Veldrif, inland to Darling and Riebeek West.  Guest houses near Langebaan and Yzerfontein are popular for water sports and golden sandy beaches. Langebaan attractions centre around its lagoon, local seafood restaurants, casino at Club Myconos, fun-park, quad biking and waterslides. 
The amazing bird life, fauna and flora can be seen at the West Coast National Park, and at places along the 'Weskus' such as Jacobsbaai, Saldanha, Paternoster, Britannia bay and Velddrif.
!Ikhwa Ttu San Culture and Education Centre relates the heritage of the San people of this area and is an interesting stop for historic perspective.  A range of adventure activities could include 4X4 routes, river rafting, horse riding and others.  An African game farm experience may include a Day Safari to see game such as wildebeest, giraffe, kudu and zebra. Of archeological interest is the West Coast Fossil Park.
The West coast wild flowers at Post Berg Nature Reserve, Tienie Versveld Flora Reserve, and the Darling Wild Flower Show are annual attractions in early Spring.  The flower region stretches to the coast at the Cape Columbine nature reserve and on to St. Helena bay past Velddrif.
There are many mountain bike events along the west coast, and the Berg River Canoe Marathon in July.
