About Brambleberry Farm Cottages in the Riebeek Valley: Brambleberry Farm accommodation offers a quiet getaway on a farm in the Swartland area, situated on the slopes of Kasteelberg near Riebeek-Kasteel. Intaba and Thula Cottages, both situated on a hill on Brambleberry Farm, are virtually identical except that Intaba can sleep 8 people, and Thula sleeps 6 people. The cottages have terrific views of mountain ranges, neighbouring farms, lands and dams. We have amazing summer evenings and a farm dam to swim in. You may hike the mountain, cycle the endless quiet farm roads, braai at the stream under the oaks just below the main house or enjoy a sundowner with the most beautiful sunsets. The night sky is outstanding; we often sleep under the stars. You can interact with a horse and her foal, chickens, peacocks, farm dogs and view the dairy cows and calves on the neighbouring farms. At night we can hear the hoot-hoot of the local owls, if you’re lucky you’ll spot a porcupine, the feral pigs, rooibokkies, wild hares, jennets, mongoose …… |
