The 2011 Spring Symphony Season of the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra will be performed at the
Cape Town City Hall from 17 November to 9 December.
The CPO's
Guest Conductor for this season is Bulgarian violinist, conductor and composer
MARTIN PANTELEEV. He recently conducted the CPO during its critically acclaimed American concert tour of 18 cities on the East Coast, and has scooped several prizes including the 1995 Second Prize for Composition and the Special Prize for his performances of a work by Schubert at the International Competition Earth and People of Sofia, Bulgaria

in honour of the late Mrs Huberte Rupert, who was a patron of music and the arts in South Africa.
