Fynbos and Food event on 16 December 2011
Good Hope Gardens Nursery - the beautiful indigenous plant nursery
near Cape Point - will be hosting this season’s
event on 16th of December and invites you to participate.
With the concept of a farmer's-market-meets-art in the outdoors - the emphasis will be on food, Fynbos and local produce. As they say - 'local is lekker' ... and this will be a joining of community in the best way; nature, music, art, great food, kids entertainment and friends.
At this exciting event one can expect indigenous plants, organic produce, delicious food stalls and locally produced goods. The plant nursery will be having a sale on all plants in the retail and the new farmstall will be open and filled with goodies. There will be an array of stalls including crafts, leather work, woodwork, organic fruit and veg, freshly baked breads, wheat free bakes and other delicious treats.
One can relax with refreshments in the outdoor seating area, explore the Fynbos Walks and take in the local artists exhibition displayed around the nursery.
For the kids there will be pony rides, a jumping castle, face painting and craft stalls, healthy food, a playground and farm animals. For your entertainment there will be musicians, a succulent koppie and sculpture footpath as well as expert gardening advice.
So bring your friends and family to
