The Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch annually hosts the fabulous and now famous CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT in the magnificent setting of the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens - from the 15 - 18 December 2011.
At the height of the Christmas season, Capetonians and holiday makers to Cape Town come to the gardens to relax and picnic on the garden lawns.
Bring your family and friends, your picnic basket and a blanket to sit on, and enjoy a wonderful evening in this majestic setting: a natural amphitheatre on the slopes of Table Mountain.
Herald in the Festive Season with carol singing complemented by a nativity tableau.

As the programme draws to a close, you can be part of the now famous "Kirstenbosch Wave", a moving spectacle. Don't miss this popular event.

Gates open at 5:00pm and guest artists perform from about 6:00pm.

This project enables the Rotary Club to support and spread goodwill in our community, concentrating mainly on literacy, water and sanitation, HIV/Aids – particularly Aids orphans, woman and child abuse, the supply of medical equipment and the environment. We also support Rotary endeavours towards the worldwide eradication of Polio.

The venue accommodates a maximum of 6000 patrons per night and TICKETS CAN ONLY BE PURCHASED at Pick n Pay stores throughout the Western Cape.
No Tickets will be sold at the gardens gates. Picnic spots on the lawns are unreserved.
