Wedding Venue at Manor on the Bay -
Ideal for small exclusive weddings, we offer a peaceful, tranquil venue for intimate weddings in Gordons Bay. The landscaped garden and seaside setting makes it the ideal setting for beautiful pictures and romance.
We cater for groups of up to 28 people for a sit-down meal and up to 60 for a cocktail party.
Approximate Costs:
- R2 900 Venue hire (chairs, crockery & cutlery included). We supply white table cloths & serviettes. All extras at client’s cost.
- A variety of menu’s from R155 – R250 per head (Buffet, plated & canapé platters)
- Corkage fee
- R400 for taking pictures in the big palm garden. This cost only applies when you do not make use of any of our other facilities, in other words, just come in for 1 – 3 hours and take pictures.
Optional extras that can be organized by us:
- Florist, photographer, make-up artist, decorator and hair stylist
- Live music i.e. violin, saxophone, harp etc.
- Quotes supplied on request.
- Special rates for wedding groups:
- The Manor has 12 spacious en-suite bedrooms. 8 with stunning sea-views and 4 in the garden court by the pool.
Request our special rate if you want to book all our rooms in guest house.

Conference Facilities: Manor on the Bay offers a tranquil, yet professional conference venue. The environment provides an inspiring, creative input to our professional services.
Our Facilities include
- Manor on the Bay's air-conditioned conference room ( 8 x 4.3 m and ceiling height of 3.1m ) can accommodate up to 18 people, seated in Board Room Style.
- Facilities for two groups in breakaway sessions. More groups can be accommodated if the weather permits, since our gardens offer an ideal place to brainstorm creative ideas.
- Standard equipment is available and included in the different conference packages:
- Flipchart and pens
- Whiteboard and pens
- TV and Video
- WiFi
- additional conference equipment can be hired on request at an extra cost.
- Accommodation
- 12 spacious and comfortable double rooms are available at Manor on the Bay.
- A network agreement with a neighbouring guest house ensures accommodation for more delegates in 10 additional double rooms.
