Cape Pride Proteas is on a farm situated in the majestic Overberg (literally translated - over the mountains) region of the Western Cape approximately 100 kms east of Cape Town.
At Cape Pride Proteas we take great pride in our flowers and the exquisite environment in which they grow. We invite you to take a visual tour of our farm to meet our staff and see the environment in which we are all proud to work.

All of our flowers are natural hybrids that were found growing in the wild. The Overberg region is home to the greatest concentration of different protea species found anywhere on earth.
These rugged plants thrive with lots and sun, and the Overberg is ideally suited to proteas that grow on decomposed granite soil, which is well drained, acid and low in fertility.
At Cape Pride Proteas they are now cultivated using the latest technology and plant protection methods to ensure internationally accepted quality control standards.
