Wellington Gravel Travel Mountain bike event takes place
on 27th and 28th August 2011, on farm roads and jeep tracks heading away from Diemersfontein, through the vineyards and farms of Wellington, crossing the Bainskloof Pass road and heading towards Groenberg Mountain.

The well-balanced, fast route is jam-packed with beautiful views, fynbos, historic farmsteads, stream crossings and vineyard settings, passing many of the local award-winning cellars.
Expect spectacular flowing single track, technically within reach of everyone (check the website for video clips of single track as they are built!).

Fri 26 Aug @ Sportsmans Warehouse in Tygervalley from 12 - 2pm and Diemersfontein 2 - 8pm

Wellington is essentially a farming community and wine grape growers have become the main agricultural mainstay of the area. True to its authentic winelands nature, visitors to the Food and Wine Court can expect to sample and buy excellent wine accompanied by the best local cuisine.
Entry to the Wine Court is R20.00 (over 18's only). Race participants will receive a complimentary ticket.
