About Gedacht Guest House cottages, Stellenbosch: Nooitgedacht is a family owned and managed historical Cape Dutch wine estate, with a homestead and outbuildings that date back to 17th century. The Manor house was built in 1774 by Hendrik Cloete who was also owner of Groot Constantia - world famous for it’s Constantia wines. The house welcomes guests with old worldly charm, warmth and history and is filled with antiques collected by the Wirth family over many years.
Gedacht Guest House offers accommodation to 8 - 10 guests. Set amongst centuries old oak trees, the Cape Dutch Manor House sets the standard of tastefulness with 2 large en-suite bedrooms. The house has two doors opening up to two different patios that overlook the beautiful, well maintained gardens. One of the lovingly converted outbuildings adjacent the Manor house has three luxury en-suite rooms affectionately named Bella, Milu and Annie, each with their own unique themed décor detail. Facilities: Each room is fitted with all modern amenities which includes
