Horizon Cottages have made holidays in South Africa affordable with self catering family Cottages and romantic studio Cabanas located in the tranquil coastal valley suburb of Noordhoek. Our guests enjoy the peace and tranquility, but find that our accommodation is very conveniently situated for all of the attractions of Cape Town, halfway between the city and Cape Point.
Our accommodation is fully equipped for self catering and beds have orthopaedic mattresses with luxury white cotton percale bedding to ensure a good night’s rest.
Self catering cottages: Our Cottages have open plan, fully equipped kitchens. Perfect for a family holiday, there is a door from the lounge to the covered stoep facing a private garden with a bbq area where kids can play in safety. The stoep has a table/bench set where you can relax outdoors and enjoy the spectacular sunsets for which Noordhoek is famous.

Guinea Fowl Cottage is furnished in African Colonial style with antiques and original artworks, sleeps 4 people privately in 3 bedrooms. The Main bedroom has a King bed, second bedroom has ¾ bed and the third is a single bedroom. It has a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room and outdoor covered dining area. This cottage is ideal for a family with 2 children.
Captain’s Cottage is our brightly decorated beach cottage sleeping 4 to 6. Main bedroom has a King bed, the second has twin beds and there is a couch in the living room that folds out to an extra double.
An open plan kitchen affords economic but relaxing family meals. There is a separate dining room and a spacious lounge that has 2 double sofas. Bathrooms have bath with shower, vanity and toilet.
Self catering Cabanas are the popular choice of Romantic couples with King bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, lounge area, fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar with fridge, stove and microwave. Sliding glass doors open to private deck, with outside table and chairs, and spectacular views of Noordhoek lakes and the garden.

Our cottages are at the foot of Table Mountain National Park, situated in a tranquil country village, overlooking Noordhoek lakes and Long Beach - the last bit of countryside in greater Cape Town.

- Long Beach Noordhoek for wind surfing, surfing or a slow ramble on the 8km of white sand;
- mountain walks or hikes;
- whale watching;
- the famous African penguin colony at Simonstown;
