About Kloofzicht Estate loft and cottages, Tulbagh: The Kloofzicht Loft self catering accommodation is situated at Kloofzicht Estate and is 3km from the picturesque Tulbagh Village. The Loft comfortably sleeps 9 although is best suited for a family or a group of friends, with the additional cottages for smaller groups. The Loft accommodation consists of
- The very large loft with a double bed, 2 single beds, fire place, lounge area and a Romeo and Juliet balcony with beautiful sunset views over the mountains.
- Leading off the main loft area is a second double bedroom (ideal for the kids or some privacy) and a spacious bathroom.
- Downstairs is an open plan lounge, fully equipped kitchen area for basic self-catering with a fireplace and an additional double bedroom, basins and a shower.
- The Loft offers a total of two bathrooms and a third separate toilet.
- All linen and bath towels are supplied - please bring your own swimming towels.
- Outside is a large wraparound deck to relax with a sundowner and beautiful gardens to sit and read a book in, or simply stroll through, following the vineyards down the river winding through the farm.
- In front of the loft is a large dam that is safe for swimming.

For smaller groups we have 2 self catering Cottages - each has 2 double bed-rooms, bathroom, open plan kitchen and lounge dining room area. Two daybeds in each open plan area can accommodate additional people.
Kloofzicht Cellar stocks a wide range of fabulous local wines. Simply pack a well equipped picnic basket with scrumptious goodies from our 'Things I Love' Deli in Tulbagh and relax under the palm trees in the garden. |

Nearby Attractions: Kloofzicht Estate is a relaxed base from which to explore historical Tulbagh starting in famous Church Street with its highest number of beautifully restored national monuments in one street, wonderful restaurants, museums, art galleries and all the well known wine farms of the valley. Tulbagh also offers a host of daily attractions:
- horse riding, hiking and bike trails into the mountains and
- chocolate and cheese making.
- The weekend can be filled with bubbly sabrages on the well known Twee Jongezellen Wine farm, or hiking up to Tulbagh's own waterfall to watch the sun settle over the mountains.
- Special events during the year include Tulbagh Spring Arts Festival, Tulbagh Horse shows (Sept/ Oct) and Christmas in Winter when the snow-capped mountains inspire golden roasted turkey, potatoes and Christmas pud.
